Clear the Ego and see the World

Would you prefer to experience a dusty storm or a foggy dawn?

The answer is simple. No one would choose a dusty storm, so how can we surround ourselves with egotistical people. The ego and its impact are as large as a nuclear explosion. It explodes internally and vandalizes our soul and smashes our heart.

clear the ego

Egotistical people have trouble in their careers and personal lives. They are close minded and their careers can often be compared to a parabola, it crumbles after a short period.

Here are a few of the most noticeable features of egotistical people:

  • They are jealous of other people’s success.
  • They can’t stand to see other people happy.
  • They are consumed with their own success and will go to great lengths to achieve it.
  • They take joy in harming or destroying the professional lives of others.
  • They are not team players.
  • They lack leadership skills.
  • They always try to show their superiority.
  • They always portray themselves as smarter than others.
  • They are selfish.
  • They only care for themselves.

Ego is like a cancer and pain will surely come from it.  Always avoid these people as their negativity can actually make you mentally unconscious. They will suck all your energy and make you feel dumb.

The ego is a fascinating monster.

Alanis Morissette

Humans are meant to change the world and we must change our society by spreading love and happiness rather than being egotistical and spreading hatred.

“The more you give, the more you get.”

So always have foresight and help others without being selfish.  Uproot your ego from your heart and soul and be a helping hand to society.

If society is beautiful then so you are.

Smile is the fuel of Productivity

Remember to SmileJust now I received one tweet from Dale Carnegie India on my smart phone. It says… “_______ is the Fuel of productivity.”

If you ask me what could be the best word for above question then that has to ‘SMILE’.

“Smile is the fuel of Productivity.”

Smile is Fuel of Productivity

What is your fuel of Productivity?

You can get thousands of answers of it. I believe whatever makes us happy and energize us, makes our work and day more productive. We find ourselves more energetic and in best mood when we are feeling happy from bottom of our heart.

“A single second can boost your day with confidence.”

Have you ever observed and tried to trace down your productive hour? Yes you heard right. Productive hour. We all have our own productive hours when we actually can do our tasks productively with highest concentration and with great accuracy.

Mine is in the morning and especially when I listen influencing music. Because I feel rejuvenated, I feel energetic and fresh from my heart. It not helps me to rejuvenate but brings a smile on my face, a smile of confidence.

Furthermore, we get best of the ideas in this moment of time which can be a stepping stone in our businesses and society. It could be while having a morning coffee or when we are spending time alone or while reading a book. Sometimes we get ecstatic ideas when we listen to energetic and influencing music or when we indulge in conversation with our mentors.

There are thousands of reasons which make our day productive, but the bottom line is it leaves a smile on our face and influences our day. It gives us an intense satisfaction. It not only rejuvenate our moment but also freshen up our mind which reflects on our lips and directly reflects in our relationships and work.

So, always trace your productive hour and convert it into a gratifying day and make your life incredible.

Keep Smiling… 🙂

“We will open the book.  Its pages are blank.  We are going to put words on them ourselves.  The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.”

What’s your New Years Resolution?

I asked my friend, Kruti Kapadia, “What is your new year’s resolution?”  Her eyes popped out and her eye balls started revolving like earth revolving around its own axis.  She looked at me, thought for a while and before she could utter anything, I asked her a second question, “Do you have any resolutions for 2013?”

New_Year's_ResolutionsShe responded enthusiastically, “Yes, I do! I want to be happy and I want to do whatever is necessary for my family, society and myself to have ample satisfaction and happiness.”

She paused for a while and then her lips dropped into sadness and continued, “Aviral, for the last 3 years I have been making the same resolution and it always fades away”.

I asked the same question to my brother, Darpan Kulshreshtha from New Delhi.  Without a second thought he replied quickly, “Happiness is my resolution.”

I’ll bet that if you ask anyone about their New Year’s resolution, you will hear the same replies as above along with other desires and needs.

ResolutionsWe are humans and materialistic things make us happy. On the other hand, we always pretend to be happy but unfortunately through our entire life we simply keep on pretending and never actually make it a priority.

Now, the question isn’t what makes us happy or what we should do to be happy. The question is how do we achieve happiness?

“Happiness is like a butterfly, the more you run after it the farther it goes away from you.”

Happiness is not a materialistic body which you can buy from a store. It is like knowledge, the more you give the more you get.I have coined it Internal Satisfaction. Make giving our habit rather than expecting surprises from our loved ones or family.

happiness is my resolutionLet me ask you a few questions….

  • When was the last time you gave astounding surprise to your loved ones?
  • When have you made them laugh when they were sad, alone or needed your support?
  • When did you last motivate your friends?
  • When did you last praise your colleagues and subordinates?

If your answer is positive for the above questions then my dear friend you are one of the happiest people in the world.  You have achieved tremendous respect and love from society.

Happiness is all about giving and not expecting in return like a squirrel that always searches for ground nuts and hides them beneath the earth and forgets. We call it the joy of giving.

Whether your resolution is to grow in your career, grow in your love life or any other lovely thing which soothes our heart, we must always accept it with a smile and happiness.  To achieve our goals we must not violate anyone else’s feelings. It has to be achieved without ego and hatred. We have to be unselfish.

“Happiness can never be achieved by making someone unhappy.”

In this beautiful world we have materialistic goals which without any doubt should be achieved lovingly and making society happy and also making those around us smile.

“Wrap your goals with happiness.”

So let’s together make one resolution for this next gorgeous year – 2013.

“We will lend our hands to those who need us, make them smile and spread essence of positivity. Next year is going to be ours and we together will make a difference and make our world more beautiful and stress free.”

Keep Smiling…. 🙂
