lessons-learnedHere are the listed lessons which I learned in this wonderful year of mine. 🙂

  3. Always take responsibility.
  4. Surround yourself with people who makes you Smile, Happy and are Positive.
  5. Don’t join easy crowd. Go where the pressure to perform is high.
  6. Never waste your time. Utilize your time in self-development.
  7. Always Trust your fellows. Never at any cost mistrust your loved ones.
  8. Learned lots of new lessons and secrets on Investment Strategies. (This is also my 2014 Goal.)
  9. Don’t spend Money and Time which has depreciating values.
  10. Your life changes when you change.
  11. It doesn’t depend how much time you work for, what truly matters is the value you are putting in time of working.
  12. You always reap, what you sow. There is no shortcut for success and learning.
  13. Always have a short-term and long-term visions for your Personal developments, Financial planning and most importantly your Life.
  14. Always have courage. What scares you the most, do that first.
  15. Take Risks.
  16. When you face any problems or an obstacle, spend more time and effort on solution rather than the problem.
  17. Always test your Brain, Heart and Emotions in tough times.
  18. Keep emotions in check.
  19. Pen down (or keep records) the new learnings in your diary.
  20. Gain knowledge and take Actions accordingly.
  21. When you don’t feel like doing any productive work like reading or working for your goals, take an off. Don’t work or read with absent-minded.

And finally the best one which I learned last month: I know nothing (Don’t assume a single second that you have become the Smartest person), so will keep learning till I die.

Keep Smiling… 🙂

In Burdens dont seek Pardons

How do you react or mold yourself, when tasks or heavy work is dumped on your shoulders?

Lets go through this simple yet motivational (actually fictional) story about birds and their wings. It may give you some direction. 🙂

There is a fable about the way birds first got their wings. The story goes that initially they were made without them. The God made the wings, set them down before the wingless birds and said to them, “Take up these burdens and carry them.”

The birds had sweet voices for singing and lovely glittering feathers that glistened in the sunshine, but they could not soar in the air. When asked to pick the burdens that lay in their feet, they hesitated at first. Yet soon they obeyed, picked up the wings with their beaks  and set them on their shoulders to carry them. For a short time the load seemed heavy and difficult to bear, but soon, as they continued to carry the burden and to fold the wings over their hearts, the wings quickly grew attached to their little bodies. They quickly discovered how to use them and were lifted by the wings high into the air with gentle pressure.

The weights had become wings.bird

This is a parable for us.

How?

Let see..

We are the wingless birds and our duties and tasks are the wings. God uses to lift us up. He tests us with these tasks. We look at our burdens and heavy loads and try to get rid of it, but if we will carry them and tie them to our hearts, they will become wings. And on them we can then rise and soar toward acme, towards success.

These heavy burdens when lifted cheerfully with love in our hearts, will surely become a blessings to us. God intends for our tasks to be our helpers; to refuse to bend our shoulders to carry a load is to miss the new opportunity  for growth. No matter how overwhelming any burden God has lovingly placed with his own hands on our shoulders is a blessing.

We must never run away from tasks, duties and responsibilities as they make us. Running away from them is not a solution but it is like missing a better opportunity.

Ignite the passion within you

When we were kids, we used to enjoy every moment of our life. We were surrounded by ecstatic group, the group we were proud of and used to flaunt about. We had no goal, no tensions, no work pressure apart from school homework and we never considered our life seriously. We weren’t serious about it. Those were halcyon days of our life.

Still we were passionate, energetic and full of motivation.follow_your_passion

Where did we get the motivation from? What was the motivational factor? Who injected inspiration in us? What made us smile?

You guessed it right.

Friends!

Friends and friendship was our passion.

We developed and weaved beautiful dreams in our mind like weaving colourful sweaters.

As we grew older and got to know about life and relationships, got to know about priorities and our life got diverted from personal life to the professional life. As priorities changed, our goals changed and it changed the source of motivation.

Guess what?

Our dreams got shattered like ruptured glass and we adopted the scenario which later changed our motivation and passion. When passion and motivation fade, confidence drops and seeds of frustration burst over.

Result is crystal clear. Depression crops up and we ruin our precious life.

“Follow your passion midst reaction.”

We must never ever end up our passion. Passion makes us. It gives intense happiness which no one can ever provide you. Rebuild your motivational factor and prepare goal. Get inspired from leaders who changed the world. Ignite the passion within you.

Flush the Stress and Relax

One fine evening, one of my friends came to my home. He looked stressed and disturbed. He seemed to be in extreme pressure. I asked him the reason of the stress.

“It’s because of work pressure and due to this I scolded my wife at home”, he replied.mental-stress

I thought for a while.

I went inside the kitchen and brought a glass of water and asked him, “How heavy is this glass of water?”

He replied amazingly, “May be around 300 gm.”

I continued, “What if I ask you to hold it for a while may be for a minute? Then there would not be any problem. If you hold it for an hour, then you will have ache in your right arm. If you hold for a day, then without a doubt I have to hospitalize you. “

I added, “Weight does not matter at all, does it?”

In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer we hold it, the heavier it seems.

“Now you compare this with stress. If we carry all the burdens on our shoulders and problems in our mind all the time, sooner or later, the burden seems to be a like Mount Everest on our mind and won’t be able to carry it.”

Now, I asked him to hold the glass till he feels pain in his arms. He held it for around five minutes and then put it down.

I said, “As you felt pain, you have to put the glass down and need some rest to hold it back.”

When we are refreshed, we can carry on with the burden and pressure.

Finally I concluded, “Whenever you return home tonight, put the burden of work down and do not carry it home just like you remove dusty shoes before entering the home. Relax and enjoy with your family and just forget the pressure of office or burden of professional life. By not doing this, you are not only injecting more stress and creating a headache but also you may ruin your relationships at home.”

My friend seemed more satisfied and he thanked me for the motivational lesson.

Life is beautiful so never take stress. Stress and mental burdens are just temporary and it has no place in the beautiful mind.

No Strife, No Life

Life_Updowns

When we were kids, we enjoyed every moments of our life. When we grew older and entered in teen’s worlds, we got to know a bit about life like a newly born bird comes out of nest and face the dirty world. We started feeling minute level of pressures especially in exams or our so-called-love-life as we indulged ourselves in our love though it was just an infatuation.

As soon as we enter in the world of professionals and corporate we got the real taste of life. When we got married and have family we got to know the word ‘Responsibility’.

Life is not a linear. It’s like stock market graph chart. Rise and falls, ups and downs. stock graphTwists and turns.

When we wake up in the morning we feel fresh and morning dew and fragrance make us rejuvenated. As the day proceed and things keep coming on us, our mood starts fluctuating. Cause of fluctuation may be office work, relationships, family or any external forces. Whatever the reason be, it spontaneously changes our mood and we feel disheartened or happy.

When we talk this at macro level, we call it Life.

life-is-like-a-roller-coaster

Life is like a roller coaster ride. It gives you bumps at every interval.

Rather than taking it as a frightening experience, we must take it as a learning experience. We must enjoy the ride like we enjoy a roller coaster ride.

I love it when I feel pressure. I love it when I pass through bad phase. I love it when some irrelevant weeds crop up in my life.

Because these, teach me lessons. I learn a lot, examine others and try to find out how to react on these circumstances and trust me this is extremely helpful for our future when we may (obviously will) face bigger issues than today. At that time, we can link to those issues with we faced earlier in life which gives us hint for the optimum solution. It gives us energy to handle the pressure. It teaches us to stay calm in these tougher situations and our maturity level increases.

I personally, have seen many matured people who react weirdly when they face tough situations. They start blaming, shouting and sometimes start badmouthing. You must have seen big politicians, celebrities reacting to media. You guessed right, who enjoys the game and who gets trapped, we all know.

I won’t say, they lose their temper after getting bombarded with these bad happenings, rather I would say they get trapped by these situations. Guess what, we keep repeating the mistakes going forward and never learn.

In these tough situations of life or controversies we must never:

  1. Lose temper
  2. Get panic
  3. Get frightened
  4. Speak abruptly and
  5. React

Just stay calm and be silence for the time being.  Take a deep breath, hold it, count 10 and release slowly. Do it for three times and you will get a solution and feel relaxed.

Go to a calm serene place and think twice, thrice before uttering a single word because harsh words can ruin someone’s life and yours for sure.

These are just temporary and will leave but if not handled properly and smartly will give you a deep impact on your life.

“Thank you for life, and all the little ups and downs that make it worth living.”
