Don’t Telecast your Past

One beautiful morning, I along with my two friends, went to our society garden for a walk. It was a beautiful morning with sun smiling above us, birds were singing the morning rhyme, and dank green grasses beneath welcomed us. We could feel the chilly breeze on our face. It was serene and tranquil dawn in which we felt like three butterflies enjoying the essence of flowers.

As we broke into conversation, one of my friend started blaming his luck, his life, his society, his family and his past. He started throwing negative vibrations and soon we could see his outburst.

boomIt was a burst of grunge in the garden of flowers like a jet of negativity in the ocean of positivity.

Believe me, we left that place within fifteen minutes. My day came to an end before even it had started.

Before you read further, let me ask you couple of questions.

“Do you carry your past together?”

“Do you (sometime) remember those horrifying moments which drain your energy out of your soul?”

If you nod affirmatively to the above asked questions then you are drifting a bit from your positive path and if not rectified soon, it will going to take your life downwards sooner or later.

We all are human beings and we take our previous memories together. It’s a human tendency. The question isn’t about remembering mistakes or criticisms which we did or received in our earlier lives, but the question is taking those hair-raising time along with our lives and more importantly allowing those memories to ruin our present and future. These are like slow poison which kill you gently.

It’s like entering in a dark tunnel where you see nothing. Complete darkness. Complete black out. No light, still we move further with hope and faith on our little baby steps. Time may be daunting but with brave heart we move towards the search of light, towards a ray of hope. We come across some difficulties, we stumble in between still we never stop. We keep moving in search of that hopeful torchlight.

Finally, when we come out of the dark tunnel, we embrace the light. We dismantle the mask of fearful and dress the shield of relaxing attitude and wear smile.

This tunnel journey do teach us many things. It makes us internally strong and teaches us about patience and courageousness.

What will you carry along with you: A negative memory (darkness and stumbles) or a positive one (learning experiences) from this tunnel journey?

You said right, obviously a positive ones and will make sure that we do not repeat the mistakes which we did.

What will happen if we constantly carry those weirdo negatives and indulge ourselves in scary and spine-chilling thoughts?

I have seen many people across my circle, who keep talking about their failures, past negative experiences, illnesses etc. and once you listen to these people, you start feeling a negative vibes in the positive atmosphere like fishy smell in the garden of roses.

Its like carrying burdens on your own shoulders.

Result: They get trapped in the negative web and overthrow their own life. And their family’s life.

We must learn from our past but we should never carry them on our shoulders all the time. Covert those time into learning lessons and change your day, your life.

“Forgetting bad time leads to good and beautiful life.”

Keep Smiling… 🙂

Stop dancing to negative tunes

When I was a kid, I hardly used to go out of my home. Even when bell would ring I don’t dare to open the door.

I used to skip social gatherings, festive evenings etc. and even if I had to go (forcefully) and attend these, then hardly used to talk to any one there. This doesn’t mean, I was like ‘not-to-mingle’ person but I was worried, what people will say about me. How will they react once I start talking to them. Lots of questions would arise in my mind.

I was living in an isolated world.

It happens with every one of us. It must have happened with you, if not hats off to you. I wish I would be like you.

What will people say at my back’ put me in the isolation. I could not handle criticism. This word ‘Criticism’ made me shiver. It made me frightened. Socializing with people and rubbing shoulders with them for me was like walking alone in timorous and terrified midnight in the jungle.

I was living in the midst of Critics, their criticisms and people used to gossip about me. Unfortunately, I danced to their negative tunes.

“People deal too much with the negative, with what is wrong. Why not try and see positive things, to just touch those things and make them bloom?”

– Nhat Hanh

Before I move forward, let me ask you one simple question.

If you accidently caught in the marshland then what will you do to get out of it?

Yes, you guessed right!

You free your body and will try to grab some support and slowly try to come out of it. The more you make yourself rigid and stay there, the more you go deeper inside the marshy land. You know the result.

These negative people in our society who talks behind our back or criticizes us openly are not lesser than the marshy land. The more you stay with them, higher the negativity surrounds you. The more time you spend with them, more unhappiness will start revolving around your soul like satellites orbiting around the planets.

Wherever you go, they and their echoes will follow you.

What to do in these circumstances, when you get caught with these negative people while socializing?

keep calmWill you stop going or visiting these ecstatic places (the way I did)? Will you stop talking to incredible people who can inspire you, inject the positivity inside you and who can share life changing ideas?

No!

Just ignore them, live your life freely. Put the wings on your back and keep visiting numerous people no matter what they talk about you or how they react at your entrances or exits. Don’t waste your energy after them and their idiotic gossips. Entertaining these people are waste of energy, time and most importantly spoiling our mood and soul. If you don’t love talking to someone, just politely ignore them with smile on your face. Trust me, your million dollar smile will kill their egos and confidence.

ignore negative peopleNot going at such thrilled places because of the negative people will isolate you, the way it did me. Yes, I was hundred percent wrong and obviously was immature in my teenage days. But when I got to know my mistake, suddenly I worked on it and changed my attitude and it changed my life.

Now, whenever I go to parties or socialize with others, I just ignore the criticisms with my beautiful smile and never let their negativity enter in my soul. I filter out their negative impacts and receive positive vibrations from the environment, the way modern air conditioners filter out dust particles and provide you chilled air and give you soothing experience.

We go to social gatherings and meet various incredible people and increase our network. Strengthen our relationships with those who love us and care for us. Going there and not talking to beautiful people is like walking in the beautiful garden and avoiding the fragrances of the beautiful flowers.

In garden, you may get few thorns as well but because of these, will you stop visiting the garden?

Guest Blogger: 10 Life Lessons by Clarabelle

Being a Science student, I always learned, ‘Red color has the highest wavelength’.’The highest wavelength has the highest energy. This energy reflects from red colored pic, who inspired me at every bit of seconds and I truly feel lucky to have her on my ship of Life: Clarabelle.

ClaireClarabelle means Bright. As I said, red color is the brightest color which reflects from her poetic heart and beautiful mind.

Being a guest blogger, Clarabelle is sharing her 11 invaluable life experiences and I call it – life experiences shared are eleven, she is gorgeous poetess from heaven.

At the ripe age of 39, I believe I am not even half way through my life and I know and have faith  that the best is yet to come, however I do feel I am life experienced enough to share my life lessons with the world, because wisdom is truth and we all have truth inside of us no matter what age we are.  So here are 10 of my life lessons shared with you today and not in any order of priority:

  1. LOVE – You will attract real, pure love into your life only when you have mastered your own self-love.  Love yourself every day, be kind and special to all of you and you will attract an abundance of love from others around you.
  2. VALUES – Identify your core values.  I was 34 years old before I actually explored and identified my own core values and when I did, it was life changing for me.  You must not just focus on the label of the value, the most important part is what each value means to you.
  3. RELATIONSHIPS  – “Seek first to understand before being understand”, this is a principle shared in the late Mr Stephen R. Covey’s book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, if you practice this principle in your relationships with others, it will most definitely strengthen that relationship and strengthen the relationship you have with yourself too.
  4. MEDITATE – When your mind is busy and swamped with too many things to do, worries and/or negative thoughts, Meditate, it will help you to silence the mind and put your body into a calmer place, it will then give you the space to shine from within and open up your creativity on how best to move forward.
  5. BE BRAVE – Practice the art of being brave, take yourself out of your ‘comfort zone’ and into your ‘learning/stretch zone’ – do this every day.  If you ever feel like you’re life is just ‘drifting by’ it’s time to take charge of your life and take personal action – BE BRAVE.
  6. HELP – Never be afraid to ask for help, never be afraid to show your vulnerable side, for I believe there is much more strength in the person who can openly ask for help and express their vulnerability than there is in the person who doesn’t do this.
  7. ADVANCEMENT – In your every day interactions with others, always think about how you can advance the other person, what can you share with them that will be of value, it will not only advance them but it will also advance you.
  8. CREATE – Focus on imagination, creativity, innovation and invention instead of competition, you will grow much more as a person by focusing on these four.  There is an abundance of unlimited potential in imagination, creativity, innovation and invention, focus your energy on these and success will surely be attracted to you.
  9. ENVIRONMENT – De-clutter your environment but in order to do this, you may need to de-clutter your mind first.  When your environment is supportive of your  ‘thinking’ you will feel much better from within and it will make it easier for you to do what you want to do.
  10. BELIEVE  – Have faith and self-belief in what you can achieve.  Write down your dreams, goals and plans for the future and ‘in the now’ take personal action towards them….baby steps is enough, soon you will see progress and it will feel so good!!
  11. FUN – Oops, I know I said 10 but I just had to add this one in…..you must have fun, enjoy your life because the minute you stop having fun and take life too seriously it will show on your face and you will have less energy in your body.  ‘Feeling the fun’, gives you energy and energy attracts energy and everything is made up of energy….the more energy you have, the more you attract what you want in life.

IT’S YOUR LIFE, GO GET IT!!
